Lof, known throughout the world for his work in solar research,  utilized gravel instead of water in his solar heat system. Lof is also known for his research on water desalination to provide fresh water for third world countries.

 

Architect James M. Hunter  is well known for his many civic, commercial, organizational, educational and residential buildings in Boulder. He was also planner and architect for CSU, Ft. Collins.

 

This unique and historically significant residence has a date with a wrecking ball in a few short weeks, but the family has given me one last chance to find a preservation minded buyer!
